- Acknowledgment of Responsibility:
- North Georgia Web acts as an intermediary or facilitator for third-party services and tools, such as SSL/TLS certificates or hosting platforms.
- While we strive to ensure seamless integration and functionality, the ultimate responsibility for compliance with third-party agreements lies with the user.
- Terms Acceptance:
- By using any third-party tool through North Georgia Web, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and accepted the respective terms of the third-party provider.
- Indemnification:
- You agree to indemnify and hold harmless North Georgia Web and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your misuse or violation of third-party agreements.
Third-Party Price Adjustments
- Price Increases:
- Third-party providers may adjust their pricing at their discretion. In such cases, North Georgia Web reserves the right to pass these cost increases to customers whose services depend on the affected third-party tools.
- Customers will receive written notice (via email or other electronic means) at least 30 calendar days before any price adjustments take effect.
- Impact on Service Agreements:
- If a price adjustment results in significant changes to your service costs, you have the option to cancel the affected service without penalty, provided cancellation occurs before the effective date of the price change.
- Bundled Services:
- For services bundled with third-party tools, any price increases from the third party will proportionally affect the overall bundle cost.
- Responsibility for Monitoring Pricing:
- North Georgia Web will make reasonable efforts to notify users of price changes, but customers are responsible for reviewing applicable agreements and maintaining awareness of potential pricing adjustments.
Let’s Encrypt SSL/TLS Certificates
- Agreement to Terms:
- By installing or using Let’s Encrypt certificates through North Georgia Web, you agree to the terms of the Let’s Encrypt Subscriber Agreement, including its limitations, responsibilities, and indemnification clauses.
- Ongoing Compliance:
- Customers must maintain compliance with Let’s Encrypt’s requirements, including maintaining control of domains and requesting revocation of certificates when necessary.
- Automatic Renewal and Updates:
- Let’s Encrypt certificates may be automatically renewed as part of our services. Customers are responsible for ensuring that updated terms from Let’s Encrypt are reviewed and accepted.
- Liability Disclaimer:
- North Georgia Web provides Let’s Encrypt certificates as-is and assumes no responsibility for their performance, reliability, or compatibility beyond reasonable installation efforts.
Persistent Processes and Shared Resources
- Prohibited Processes on Shared Servers:
- Persistent processes, defined as user commands running non-interactively or without supervision, are strictly prohibited on shared servers. Examples include scripts running in the background indefinitely or processes consuming excessive server resources.
- North Georgia Web reserves the right to terminate any persistent process on a shared server without prior notice if it compromises server integrity or other users’ access.
- Private and Dedicated Servers:
- For VPS or dedicated server customers, there are no restrictions on persistent processes, provided they are legal and do not violate our Acceptable Use Policy.
- Violation Consequences:
- Unauthorized persistent processes on shared servers may result in account suspension or termination without refund.
Partnerships and Affiliate Services
- Third-Party Service Offerings:
- North Georgia Web may recommend or offer services from third-party partners (e.g., marketing tools, payment gateways). While we carefully select partners, we do not guarantee the performance or availability of their services.
- Customer Responsibilities:
- Customers must comply with all terms and conditions of third-party services obtained through North Georgia Web.
- Any disputes with third-party providers must be resolved directly with the provider unless otherwise specified.
- Termination of Partnerships:
- North Georgia Web reserves the right to discontinue partnerships or third-party services at any time. Affected customers will receive notice and appropriate transition options where feasible.
Changes to This Policy
North Georgia Web reserves the right to modify or terminate this policy at any time. Customers will be notified of significant changes through email or a prominent notice on our website. Continued use of our services following such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
